It feels like you are in a never-ending war with yourself.
You’ve tried every calendaring app, productivity hack, and planner on the planet to force your brain into submission, and you still aren’t doing what you want to be doing.
You’re a genius at some things (literally). But when it comes to consistent motivation to actually use that brilliance? Apparently you were absent the day they taught “how to get shit done” in school because you have been banging your head against the wall for years to accomplish complicated tasks like “eating.”
Well my genius friend, my eight week adventure, Motivate Your ADHD Brain, was made just for you and your stubborn, frustrating, scintillating mind.
If you have ADHD (or a similarly dopamine-driven nervous system), the majority of behavior and habit change advice you see out there isn’t built for you (which they conveniently fail to mention). It’s not that it isn’t useful, but it’s only 80% applicable if you are wired differently. That other 20% is the difference between easy mode and “throw the controller out the window” frustration.
I’m going to teach you that missing 20%.
You’ll learn things like…
Why you’re incapable of doing anything but slugging at the end of the day (and why you’re setting yourself up for failure when you expect this to not be the case).
How to create sustainable motivation by monitoring not just your moment to moment motivation, but watching your baseline dopamine as well.
The ROI calculation you brain does when it decides to do something (or not) and how a dopamine-driven nervous futzes with this math to make “just doing it” essentially impossible.
Motivate Your ADHD Brain is essentially what they should have taught you when you first learned your brain was wired to be dopamine-seeking.
Since as far as I know, this class doesn’t exist, I made it. And it’s awesome.
I also want to clarify something important…Motivate Your ADHD Brain is not about pushing yourself to be more productive for the sake of doing more. This is not the class for you if you’re primarily looking for tools to check off more items on your to-do lists. My goal is for you to leave this adventure with a better understanding of who you are, what you want, and how to do the things that light you up.
I want to support you in resting more. Playing more. Doing more of what makes you squee and do a happy dance. Because I know how difficult it is to let yourself want these things for yourself when it seems like you’re barely able to feed yourself each day.
That’s what this adventure is about…doing more of what the deep down, wildly creative parts of you want to do. One of the most important things I want you to learn is how to let yourself want things, however wacky and weird they might be.
And for the 1% of life that’s “need to do”? You’ll learn how to take it from “overwhelming dread” to “annoying, but doable.”

8 sessions of live support from an expert ADHD coach. Our sessions will be on Tuesdays at 9am PT and 1pm PT, and everything is recorded.

Hi, I’m Meg!
Experience Researcher & Product Strategist (aka human behavior expert) turned Life/Career/Business Coach. In my decade+ in the tech industry, I have helped some of the biggest brands and most brilliant minds wrap their arms around overwhelming, completely bonkers problems in industries like healthcare, finance, education (no one could ever accuse me of taking the easy path). I also kind of hated my life and myself, despite being “successful.” Whoops.
Like many gifted, ambitious women, I wasn’t diagnosed with ADHD until adulthood. As a researcher, I made it my mission to understand why I would do the things I do and why so many things felt so damn difficult. I worked with psychiatrists at the Hallowell Center (a top ADHD center) and UCSF (one of the best psychiatry programs in the county) to go deep on my habits, productivity, and growth. I read research papers and books and underwent a battery of cognitive testing.
It wasn’t, however, until I started working with a coach (who also had ADHD) that things began to finally click. I could use every productivity hack and reminder app in the world, but if I felt ashamed of my differences, I would never feel successful.
Helping other brilliant weirdoes on this journey is what drives me nowadays. I work with dopamine-driven folks to discover their gifts, embrace their neurodivergent differences, and unlearn the expectations and prescriptions of a society that wasn’t built to help them succeed.
If you are interested in my bonafides, I am a certified Life Coach through the Life Coach School, member of CHADD, and hold an M.S. in the Human Dimensions of Environmental Conservation from the University of Massachusetts - Amherst and a B.A. in Computer Science & Political Science from Wellesley College...but honestly, these are some of the least interesting things about me.
FAQs
Do I need a formal ADHD diagnosis to participate?
Absolutely not! You are welcome if you want to learn about how dopamine-driven nervous systems work - that’s literally the one requirement.
I participated in a previous cohort, can I join again?
FOR SURE! This is highly encouraged, in fact. We cover a lot, very quickly, and implementing changes requires support and wisdom. I designed (and priced) this to be easily repeatable.
Do I need to attend everything live?
Nope. Everything will be recorded and sent to you, with slides and transcripts. You will also have access to a Slack community, so you can ask questions and get help around the materials even if you aren’t attending the classes in real-time.
I definitely want to do this, but the timing doesn’t work for me. Will you offer this again?
Yup. It’s meant to be something you do more than once if it serves you. I plan on offering it roughly one a quarter. The next cohort will likely kick off in early to mid January.
I prefer to read or follow-along with notes - will you support this?
Everything is transcribed, captioned, and you get a link to all the slides I use.
Do I have to have my camera on during live sessions?
Nope, though you absolutely can if you find it helpful! I encourage everyone to do what they need to do to participate. Camera on, off…audio-only (though there will be helpful visual materials, so you may want to try to make time to watch on a screen).
Can my kid participate?
YES! I wish this was something that had been available to me when I was younger. It would be a helluva lot more useful to my life than trigonometry. I already have some folks enrolled who will be doing their course with their kid, which I think is pretty much the best thing ever.
If I were to guesstimate an “appropriate for ages” number, I’d put this course at somewhere around 12 and up, but you know your kiddo better than I do. Salty language will be present because I’m me, so if that’s an issue for you, I recommend skipping.
Will this help me understand my ADHD kid or loved one, even if I don’t have ADHD myself?
Yes. So much yes. In particular, you will learn how to work with their brain, instead of against it. A lot of traditional parenting and schooling is not friendly to humans with dopamine-driven nervous systems. You’ll learn how they work, and how to work with them, rather than fighting them.
